Your privacy & security questions answered!
Depending on the method you choose to access our online courses, we require no more than the following personal data: name, email, password (will be encrypted) and the IP-address. On this basis, we grant the students from your organisation access to our learning platform. For example, name and email address are needed to create a user account. We encrypt the password and store it in our system. We also use the email address as identification when you log in to our website.
After the end of your contract with GoodHabitz, students' personal data will be kept for another 12 months. After this period, they will be automatically deleted.
Yes, we are certainly aware of that! On 16 July 2020, the European Court of Justice declared the Privacy Shield invalid. As a result, there is no longer a legal basis for exchanging data with US parties. Every organisation that uses processors in the United States will have to conclude a Standard Contractual Clause (SCC) with each of these parties. GoodHabitz is no exception. On this page you will find more information about the steps we have taken to comply with the GDPR regarding our processors.
We do not store or share students' personal data on US servers. For more information on our processors, feel free to contact our security department at security@goodhabitz.com
Yes, GoodHabitz is ISO certified! We are proud to comply with this international standard for information security. But ISO27001 goes beyond data protection. It focuses on all company data and processes within the scope of certification.
Good question! In our privacy statement, you'll find an overview describing exactly which data is shared with each party and for what purpose.
